The Governing Board of the Municipality of Redován has given its approval to a new call for financial aid intended, in this case, to generate jobs in the municipality through the promotion of self-employment, ie to entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. These subsidies, which have a total amount of 3,000 euros entered in the budget are directed “to those who have launched their business between August 31, 2017 and August 31, 2018”, explained Councilor for Employment, Maite Martinez and pointed out that “this year we extended the deadlines for the creation of companies during all months of the year, since among the requirements is that the activity is kept a minimum of three months.”
The amount of the aid will be 300 euros for entrepreneurs; 400 euros for women entrepreneurs and 500 euros for entrepreneurs with some type of disability. What they cover are equipment expenses of companies such as the acquisition or lease of the real estate where the activity will be carried out, adaptation and reform, furniture, signs, office and computer equipment, machinery, light installations, water, gas, telephone, tools, etc. In no case will taxes or expenses derived from deposits, sureties or transfers be eligible.
Maite Martínez has commented that commercial companies, communities of goods, civil societies and cooperatives can apply for assistance “in which case it will be a single aid, regardless of the number of members”, as well as individual entrepreneurs who meet the requirements to create the company between August 31, 2017 and this year and that the activity remains a minimum of three months. Neither will be granted if they have already requested grants for the same concept and it is a prerequisite that the activity takes place in the municipality of Redován. First call for the hiring of 16 agricultural workers

The Local Police of Redován will already be able to carry out alcohol tests with reliable results thanks to the incorporation of a breathalyzer that the City Council of Redova has acquired with an investment of 7,000 euros that was provided for in the municipal budget.
This device, of last generation, has been delivered to the police by the mayor, Emilio Fernandez, and the councilman of Public Safety, Ramon Lopez, who has pointed out that until now “it was counted on a breathalyzer that gave an orientative result, although now as we have a modern, and above all approved based on the requirements of the European Union, you can know the exact blood alcohol level presented by people who are submitted to the tests.

The Royal and Honorary Order of Knights of San Antón and the City Council of Redován go hand in hand, one more year, to celebrate the traditional Pilgrimage of San Cristóbal that will bring to the Sacred Hearts School on May 1 a day of military exhibitions and police that will start at ten in the morning and that will extend well into the afternoon. The contest has already been approved by the Governing Board and was published last Thursday in the Official Gazette of the Province. The jury will make an assessment of the overall quality of the proposals taking into account the adaptation to the environment and the urban landscape, the architectural and urban quality of the proposal, the consideration that is made in each of them of the public space regarding the urban and landscape scene, the technical, urban, economic and constructive viability, the criteria of economic and environmental sustainability and those of universal accessibility and design for all.
Emilio Fernández has encouraged professionals to put their ideas “in a contest that we believe may be an opportunity especially for younger architects,” and has said that the government team is considered “an exciting project that also, once it is completed, it will be used by many and many Redovanenses who now do not have facilities of this type near their home. ”

The Consortium for the Economic Development of the Vega Baja (Convega), is going to start up the “Active Youth” program in the Vega Baja region, led by the Hon. Provincial Council of Alicante, and the funding of the European Social Fund, with the aim of training and qualifying young people between 18 and 30 years, in areas where there is a great need to incorporate professionals, that is, offer specific training in three areas concrete, Community Manager, Health Care and Big Data, in order to enhance the knowledge of the youth of the province of Alicante and give them quality work alternatives.
The specific training will be taught between the months of MAY to SEPTEMBER. The labor practices in companies will be carried out from SEPTEMBER to NOVEMBER. The duration of the program is 6 MONTHS.

Redován 4/23/2018. Redován held on Sunday the seventh edition of the Coral Music Contest 'Villa de Redován', an event that took place in the renovated San Miguel parish and that included the participation of three previously selected choirs and a fourth, the Francisco Vallejos Choir of Torrevieja that was the winner of last year. The jury, composed of three specialists, the coordinator of the contest (with voice but no vote) and a representative of the City Council as a secretary also with voice but without vote, decided that the Iuvenis Choir of Cartagena, led by Baltasar Sánchez, would remain in first place and therefore will take the first prize endowed with 800 euros and trophy. The second prize was for the Coral Ars Armonium of Orihuela, which gets 400 euros and trophy and the third for Coro Pilar, Pilar de la Horadada, which took 250 euros and trophy.
